Stopped by Ben’s Soft Pretzels inside Markland Mall in Kokomo, and it was a pretty standard experience. I was serviced right away, which was nice, and the setup is simple. Restrooms and parking are shared with the mall, so access is easy. The pretzel itself, though, didn’t meet my expectations. Compared to a typical Auntie Anne’s, the taste and texture just weren’t on the same level. Nothing terrible, just not something I’d come back for. Had a great experience November 6th at closing. Saw the We Care trees and got delicious Ben's pretzel bites with cheddar cheese and a Pepsi. The young man working was very nice and kind. Highly recommend Ben's! P.S. I've purchased the pretzel kit in past and did at home with Grankids..HUGE hit!
The pop machine needs cleaned. I was getting a Mt Dew and black pieces of mold came out. These should be cleaned daily!!
