Basically I bought a laptop from bens back in November of last year (2011) and I brought it into the shop yesturday and picked it up today. Everything on the computer was working perfect!! the reason why i carried it into the shop was for viruses. The laptop came with 6 month warranty, and they said that viruses wasnt covered under warranty, I was unaware about that, but I agreed to pay for the work because I checked with Dell about the viruses removal, and they charge 195. + and they do it over the phone!! Weve been dealing with Bens for several years now and I can tell you it is not easy to find an honest computer repair business but Bens is just that! He is fair and honest. We have purchased a new computer and a used laptop and have been uber satisfied. He has repaired our other computer bought at a big box store and has given us free tech support on multiple occations. I and several of my friends have had dealings with Bens. I will never go back there again. He messed my computer up and tryed to charge me to fix what he messed up. He is not an honest business man.
They sell a lot of junk and refuse to offer refunds. Hard to deal with bad service. I would not deal with this computer shop.
My daughter took her laptop to be repaired. It was promised in 3-5 days and 2 weeks later she called to ask about it. No avail. It took her fathers phone call to get answers. Then we had to MEET them in town to pick it up AFTER my daughter drove all the way down to Zebulon to pick it up as requested!! My hope is that this over 200 dollar repair works because as I said its her laptop for college! Friendly is fine but its the repairs that we all count on.
Ive been dealing with Ben and his family for about 7 years now. Over the years Ive bought a total of 4 computers (usually 2 at a time) and have found great deals. They are honest, and friendly people. I am going to buy 2 laptops at the beginning of next year....Bens is where I will look first!
i will never go back to this shop, he doesnt stand behind his work, when you ask for him to fix what was supposed to have been there in the first place, he wants to charge more money for something he screwed up in the first place, and refuses to refund money when asked to.
Ive been doing business with bens for a few years now, ive had great support with them over the years.. Bens techs knows alot about computers and are certified a+ net+ microsoft cert. Bens doesnt require any signatures or anything upon leaving a tower or laptop with them.. they also dont require 45. diagnose fee like other computer shops. Bens is 100% a+ service.. My family, church and I are all satisfied.
Well, I have done business with Bens on several occasions, and I would rate them mediocre at best. The technicians act like they dont have any formal training in computers and their sense of urgency for customer service sure leaves something to be desired. I would take my business elsewhere if you want thorough knowledge and sincere customer service.
