Solid lil 3 stars, nothing more, could be less, but we’ll rock with the 3 for now. Came here with my girl before and we were turned off because a majority of the workers just didn’t seem very clean, so we skipped it and went to Five Guys instead. This time we came back and ordered a chili rice bowl and a hot dog. Cashier was a little slow and rang my order up wrong 3 times, but hey, we’re human. Lived in the DMV growing up & never had Ben’s but tried the rice bowl today and it was really good!
I smelled the cooked food all the way from the gate I arrived at....🤤 I saw lots of happy customers eating their food. I ordered a chili topped single burger and it was delicious, not overly heavy tasting. When you smell their food...quick, run...go eat there immediately. Do not dilly dally...do not delay...Go there already.
Always wanted to try Bens chili bowl but had never made the effort to go out of my way to try it in DC. Passed it in the airport and thought it would be a good opportunity to give it a try. I tried the original half smoke and thought the sausage was pretty good but the chili and the dog as a whole was just okay, nothing special. Had it been a little better I may have still wanted to try one of the DC locations to see how they compare, but as it is, I am happy to have tried it and feel like I can check this off the list.
