Don't Buy Bennington! Apparently Bennington wants to blame shotty craftsmanship own on new owners who are stupid. If you buy, you have been warned. On the second trip we took the boat out on, the hinge pin on the bimini popped out and the bimini was caught in the wind, flipping back and bending the frame and damaging the zippers. According to Bennington, I am stupid, and this was my fault, so they don't want to honor the warranty. Literally second trip out!
Benningtons build quality has taken a nose dive. So much is wrong on my new boat, from screwed up wiring to MISSING options that I paid for. My previous Bennington was great, sadly that company no longer exists. This is a shell of their former self and their quality control is non existent. Look elsewhere for a boat.
I ordered a 2024 Bennington 25 RTSB. The boat is beautiful but the quality/attention to detail is poor - and service is even worse. I paid roughly $5,000 for a stereo upgrade to Rockford Fosgate PMX-2. It doesn't work properly(fader does not work to back speakers). And I can't get anyone to fix it. Bennington needs to do better-- this is the interior of my boats trim after 2 years covered. Looks like crap--- bad quality and have tried twice to get the dealership to address-they keep saying we are waiting for Bennington to reply--- just remember if you purchase one of the Bennington this is what you get.
My wife and I purchased a Bennington pontoon in 2012. The boat has performed flawlessly and we are always amazed that after we open the boat up after being stored for a couple of months how well everything cleans up. The vinyl upholstery still looks almost like new. But our biggest praise is how they stand behind their product. We noticed last year some stress tears showing up in the boat cover.
