About Us:Bennington Pines is locally owned and operated by the Engh Family. The dream of Kermit Engh, we started planting 19 years ago. This our third year getting a tree from them. They always have nice trees to pick from and we love getting to pre-tag our tree when it's nice in October.
We have been coming to Bennington Pines for the last 6 years and it's a wonderful family tradition for us. Great selection of trees and fair prices. Nothing better than chopping down your own Christmas tree. We love coming.
Fun, friendly staff, an outstanding experience, and memories with the family to cherish for a lifetime. What's not to love about a place like that??? I don't believe in "pre-tagging," but that's because a Christmas Tree is never perfect...until you bring it home!
If you didn't pre-tag, don't bother going! This is our first year in Nebraska, and we went the day after Thanksgiving to find a tree. EVERYTHING was pre-tagged! There were plenty of Charlie Brown trees, but who wants to pay that much for a scraggly tree when you are looking at all the beautiful pre-tagged trees. We walked around for an hour and left empty handed and disappointed. �
We had a great time finding our tree. We have done this for 5 years and love being able to take our dog. It's a wonderful family tradition.
We've been going to BP for 4 years in a row now. The staff is super nice, fun, and you can tell they love their jobs. Every year we look forward to pre-tagging and then coming back a month later to cut the tree down. I'd recommend this place to anyone that wants a traditional, heart felt, and enjoyable experience.
We've been coming here for years! We love the tradition we've made with our kids of pre-tagging the tree in October and then coming back after Thanksgiving to cut it down and enjoy some hot chocolate! Highly recommend!
