If I could rate the overall experience it would be a .5. The ribs were so dry and overcooked you couldn’t even cut it with a knife and we weren’t the only ones that complained about the food. The waiter would put the drink order in and the bartender was either in her phone or doing random tasks, mind you there were only 3 parties in this restaurant and it took an average of 10mins per drink. As a previous waitress, I feel that you can take this review to heart. I am ALWAYS on the service’s side. I couldn’t wait to leave this establishment. Ribs were disgusting. Drinks were not stocked. When the rail was not available and the low end was not available, we were charged for high end. I asked specifically for one thing and was given another. Love the Clarksburg Tavern. Great food and service. Nice local beer on tap. Pool table and live music. All with a family owned atmosphere - everyone is always so nice and attentive. If your local to Clarksburg/Urbana/Germantown and haven't gone, you need to check it ou.
Loved the food and decor, but the chef really made our experience! We showed up before they were open on accident, but she let us in and took our orders and took care of us until some servers got there. It was so sweet. Plus their Reuben is super delicious!
