We love it here. We stop in when visiting family and friends on the area as we no longer live there.
Had dinner here tonight with my kids ordered the Ruben, Monte Cristo & the pretzel. Everyone was happy with the food & Kaos our server was great. We had a good time.
We made several attempts to visit this establishment, but it seems to close unpredictably despite the website indicating it was open. When we finally had the opportunity to try it, the experience was highly disappointing. The food was mediocre at best, and the fries were served cold. During our visit, we also observed an older woman with gray hair—who I’m assuming is the owner—speaking rudely to both customers and staff. We came to Clarksburg Tavern for the first time 2 weeks ago. Since then, we have been back a total of 3 times. This place is an absolute gem! The three times, we tried their burger, philly cheese steak, french dip, tacos, and fish and chips. Everything was super fresh and delicious. But I highly recommend the Phily Cheesesteak (with peppers and mushrooms). The Fries......OMG, crispy and well-seasoned on the outside, hot and moist on the inside, just absolutely amazing.
