I found Dr. Bennett to be very unprofessional as a marriage counselor. It was clear from the first session, that he disliked me and after a few sessions/beatings, Actually tore us apart. Even going so far as actually giving advice to file for divorce. This was not what either of us wanted and found a new counselor! She is fair to both parties and "hears" what we EACH have to say. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
Not upfront, vague statements that leave you guessing what he means. Would not recommend.
First off, Dr. Bennett is very smart. While he doesn't sugar coat things, his opinions are right on. I did have a few problems though. First, the front desk and insurance staff (which have very little to do with him) are very harsh and unwelcoming. Additionally, he made some sexual remarks towards me that I found very uncomfortable. While I truly believe he is very gifted, I think he should tone down his opinions when it comes to intimate relations - save it for your wife, please.
