I had a 5 month check of my progress after physical therapy for my right leg and femur. Dr Burns was very thorough in examining my femur and leg. He checked my range of motion flexibility and gait after my physical therapy. He explains every aspect of my recovery from surgery and checks my progress with physical therapy. He also explains my continuing plan for further improving my physical flexibility.
Dr. Burns was very thorough and took the time to discuss all aspects of the sustained injury and recovery. He made us feel very comfortable and confident in the care our son was receiving.
I absolutely love Dr. Burns. I was sent his way after breaking my leg in NH during a Tough Mudder (I live in Western MA). He has been an incredible surgeon, but more importantly, he has helped me stay active and keep my spirits up through the whole process. More surgeries are likely in my future, and even if they are performed by other doctors who have different specialties (I'm likely looking at a complete knee replacement at some point), I will always look to Dr. Burns to coordinate things.
Dr. Burns fixed my son's arm, he was 5 at the time, by the time my son got transported to the hospital by ambulance from one hospital to the next and readied up for surgery it was so late for a little boy to be up, Dr. Burn's was so kind and gentle with my son that night. He was very professional. The follow-up care we received from him and his staff was great as well, 5 visits, re-castings, pin-removal surgery. Five years later my son's arm is strong, looks great, scar is tiny. A++ Doctor
