I haven't had any problems until this week. My dog just got neutered from some place else. He was very uncomfortable and restless. I called after hours and I was able to get in right away. Dr Wolfe gave him a very strong dose of a narcotic and said it will kick in in 15 minutes. 7 hours later, he got a little bit of sleep. He was so out of it. She tells me that she gives all her patients a narcotics and doesn't have to wear a cone. Then tells me "I get what I paid for." (As far as his surgery.)I am so disappointed how she tr... read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE***** I brought my 5 month old kitty to see Dr. Wolfe for his first vaccines and a check up/consultation for neuter and declaw. The first appointment went as expected. He received his vaccines and we scheduled his surgery for the following week. This first appointment charge was $138.99. I was not surprised or shocked with the price. TL;DR: dr. wolfe is a treasure and this place is fantastic. I would recommend Bennett Road to anyone in the East Lansing/Okemos/Haslett area. While the clinic is warm and inviting, the thing that distinguishes Bennett Road as your best option is Dr. Wolfe. YOU WILL PAY DOUBLE THE AMOUNT FOR CARE IF YOU GO HERE!! We started seeing Dr. Wolfe at Bennett Road Animal Clinic in Okemos, Mi in February of 2019. We brought our dog, Chance, in to be seen for suspected allergies as he was scratching excessively and losing weight no matter how much or how often we were feeding him. I am very grateful I found her! My cat is very sick with fever over 103 and problems breathing from sinus infection. My normal vet in Okemos would not see her for over 2 weeks! I am grateful for her care and highly recommend her. Her prices are very reasonable - she has taken my cat in on a Saturday also! I can't wait for her to meet my other cat next month!
