I would not recommend using this agency to manage your insurance policies. I was shocked to receive a call informing me that my homeowner’s insurance had lapsed and that my home had been uninsured for over two weeks. Since then, I have spent more than a month trying to get the issue resolved, and as of writing this review, my home is still uninsured. I’ve been using Bennett & Porter for over two years now. Our agent, Jeff, has responded quickly and comprehensively for every request I’ve made. They are definitely on top of policy changes and I can relax knowing that I’m not alone to figure out all the coverages on my own.

We've been with Bennett and Porter for over six years. Most of those years our agent was a fellow named Hunter and he was terrific. For the last year or so our agent has been Kathryn McMannes, big drop in service. For months Kathryn has been telling us that our carrier was pulling out of Arizona and we wouldn't have coverage. So we sought out another broker who secured coverage for $400 a year less then we had been paying. We got that policy in mid February and Wells Fargo paid it out of our escrow account. Widespread incompetence. Nice people, but they routinely fail to do their job. On two separate occasions (2025 and around 2022), my homeowners insurance lapsed with no warning from them. I was willing to forgive it the first time, but not the second. Perhaps even more unbelievably, on both occasions I was the one who brought the lapse in coverage to their attention.
