There was no problem using he City Weekly app. I ordered just brisket, and it was delicious. The only complaint I had was that about 1/4th of the brisket that I purchased was pure fat, and not edible. On a $70 purchase, about $17 of that was a total waste and had to be disposed of. I wish we could have the choice to opt out of any fat as it is not healthy at all. The meat portion was excellent however. It would be nice to have take out BBQ sauce containers also, as I did not get any sauce with my order.
Great people and great food!
Eating the chicken was like chewing on a clove of garlic. Half ended up being thrown out. I had to immediately gargle after eating one piece. My wife took one bite and spit it out. The fries were very soggy with grease and the cole slaw was left out of the order. They seem like such nice people that I've tried to give them a chance. They know how to cook bbq meat but the sides are unedible. I threw out full orders of collards and beans the last time because they tasted so super strongly of vinegar. Great service with a smile! It's open 24 hrs which is a good feature for those late night food needs! The burnt ends are delicious ð
This was my first visit to Benji's. I ordered the brisket and the burnt ends. I will say the brisket was excellent and I will definitely order that again.The burnt ends on the other hand were a big disappointment, being almost completely fat and hardly any meat. We ended throwing most of it away, as it was not palatable. I will be back for the brisket and free lemonade, you can't go wrong there.
