I thought Dr. Whitt was personable but failed to explain why I need antibiotics for such an extended period of time after my knee replacement. He stated I might have to start with 3 months with 3000mgs per day and possibly longer. My other doctors were a little baffled and concerned about the amount of amoxicillin I would be taking.
