My husband was discharged after major colon surgery with only Tylenol for pain management despite having a recent 12-inch colon resection and a large incision. The day after discharge, his pain level was still severe, so I called the on-call doctor on Memorial Day to ask if additional pain management options were appropriate. I trusted Dr Vabi the minute I met him. His bedside manner is outstanding and his compassion put me and my family at ease immediately! I have told everyone about him and am thankful that I got him as a surgeon.
I would give 10 stars. I liked his friendliness, interest,explained things , took time to listen to me, sincere, caring, compassionate , took time no rushing, genuine and likable. I was so lucky to have him . Even looking beyond at another issue with recommendations. Thankyou Dr Vabi for your kindness ,knowledge and time today.
Best doctor ever. Had a lot of scar tissue in my surgery. He did not take the easy way out and slice me down the middle. Took hi. 90 minutes to go though it but he took his time and did it. He 1 in a million. Great bedside manner.
