I was treated like family from the start. Dr. Herms was very personable and very knowledgeable about my condition. He made me feel confident that he would take care of my needs. I like and trust him very much. The care team here is truly amazing also.

Dr. Herms is knowledgeable, friendly and answers all my questions. He never makes me feel rushed. Great Doctor.

I found Dr Herms to be very kind, patient and compassionate. He could see my husband was very worried so he gave him his personal cell phone number in case he had questions at any time.

I am very surprised at the other negative reviews here. My experience has been the complete opposite of all their negative comments. I do see him at the Mercy location in Eastgate Ohio, but I don't see how that would make a difference. I have always been given answers to all my questions and with kind compassion.

Getting details about your illness and treatment is like pulling teeth. He is not an informative doctor at all! He projects an icy, rude demeanor. He seems to not realize how a poor bedside manner affects a patient’s emotional disposition and heightens their anxiety. The only time I seen a smile on this man's face was in his profile picture online and even that appears to be a strained effort.

Referred to him for blood condition diagnosis. Saw Dr. one time & asst. twice. Put on Xarelto, no information given on life threatening condition or how to live with it, & then was told my PCP could manage from now on. Guess they wouldn’t make as much $$$ on me as a cancer patient. Dr. needs a course on bedside manner & listening, not personable at all. I was very disappointed.

One of the most unfriendly doctors I've ever met.
