Dr. Sokoloff was assigned to be my primary care physician at Kaiser in Oakland, CA. At our first meeting he showed no interest in taking to me about my wants, needs, or life experience. He was offended when I asked about his qualifications and experience and annoyed when I respectfully questioned his advice on certain topics. It was a thoroughly disappointing experience and I requested a different PCP.
I saw Ben Sokoloff for a second opinion on an eval and they were evasive and extremely non transparent about the tests and examination they did. They were not forward about the reasoning for their thinking even when it was counter to the main reason I mentioned first, and only said they wouldn't consider that after the end of the appointment instead of when asked.
