A great experience with Dr. Proto. Very professional , easy to talk to, he listens and works with you. Great staff that works with him. Highly recommend to anyone.
I broke my ankle in two places on New Year’s eve and was in serious need of an orthopedic specialist. Dr. Proto was willing to see me within 5 days and confirmed that the break was severe. He was able to arrange for surgery the next week and performed the surgery installing 12 screws and 2 plates. At age 80 I was worried that I might have great difficulty walking again. Dr. Proto tried for over two years to remedy my foot pain without surgery. When was evident that surgery was the last recourse, he operated. As of today I’ve made a full recovery with no pain. I would (and have) recommended him to all my family and friends. Not only is he a skilled doctor, his bedside manner is beyond reproach. He kind, understanding and genuinely cares about his patients.

Dr. Proto was always very thorough and I never felt rushed. His staff is friendly and professional and efficient. he also took time to explain everything going on with my foot.
I had been having pain in my heel for over two years. A different doctor told me it was common and there wasn't anything that could be done. I went to see Dr Proto to see if he could give me a shot to help with the pain. Several friends and family members said the pain could be significantly decreased with a shot and I was in so much pain that I was willing to try anything.
