My endoscopy and bravo supposedly went "well" and he had "no concerns" but after I woke up from the procedure I was in intense pain (that continued for days). I asked to speak to the doctor about my pain–couldn't breath fully or sit up straight– but he refused to do so. Why? I'm not entirely sure, I don't know every detail. But I was the last procedure of the day and I felt as though the entire team just wanted to hurry up and get me out. As a young patient with anxiety, I felt/feel very ignored.
Dr. Mitlyng has been an incredible support throughout my time seeing him. From my very first appointment, he took the time to sit down with me, listen to my concerns, and answer all of my questions thoroughly. He is very personable and has made every visit with him comfortable and reassuring. I highly recommend Dr. Mitlyng to anyone looking for a doctor who goes above and beyond for his patients.
Talented Doctor but needs to work on his people skills.
I have never run into a more incompetent team in my life. My appointment was canceled after I followed their instructions for preparing for my endoscopy. First my appointment was made a month in advance for a 7:15am procedure, a week prior to the appointment I was informed they would call and let me know of my appointment ( procedure time) would be.
