I have been a patient of Dr. Mena's for over three years . He is very knowledgeable and a very good listener. It is hard to gain trust in the medical field these days. I feel blessed to have found this office.
I have seen Dr. Mena over the last two years. I think he is a great physician who has a lot of compassion. There has never been a long wait and he takes all the time needed. This is not like some of the patient mills I have seen elsewhere.
At a first glance as a New Patient with Dr. Mena, I thought in was going to be a good doctor for me to stay with a my primary care. On my first and only visit, he seemed very professional and detail oriented. He ordered Lab work for me to have done and an untra sound for my thyroid. 48 Hours later the Lab results came back and my cholesterol is Extremely high. I called his office 2 times and emailed him once, and can't get him to call me back or reply back.. It's very Unprofessional. Beware
Dr. Mena is an amazing doctor he is not your typical 10 mins with the patient kind of physician. Dr. Mena genuinely cares about his patients, he is interested in doing the right thing not just seeing as many patients as he can in one day. Yes, when you go to see him expect a bit of a wait (20-45mins) but i do not mind because i know when it is my turn to be seen he will be as attentive and thorough with my care as he was the his other patients, personally i prefer quality care.
Love Dr. Mena!! His staff are the worst! For example, today I really need to be seen! I need an appointment and I have been trying to talk to a REAL PERSON for the past hour and a half and not just leave a message. He needs to expand his office staff and FIRE the ones currently. It's outrageous! They will be the downfall of his office. Dr Mena is one of the best, kind, and caring doctors Ive been to. I would hate to have to switch doctors because of his staff.
