Dr. Venger is thorough. After 1 year of complaining to PCP about headaches and an unsteady gait, Dr. Venger did a brain MRI and discovered enlarged brain ventricles. Dr. Venger listened when no other doctor would. Since seeing Dr. Venger in July 2018 my pain is improved & controlled by injections and medication.

Dr. Venger is a good doctor. He has a lot of experience, and has brought many new and advanced medical care options to Mohave County. As a Pain Management Physician, there are obviously many hurdles and red tape patients face. Many States are giving Doctors unrealistic prescribing guidelines. All the new rules are primarily hurting law abiding citizens with legitimate medical issues. Bad decisions, not following the doctors orders, Illegal drugs and Fentanyl overdoses, are what’s killing people.

Dr. Venger is a good doctor and showed genuine concern for my pain and trying to get to the bottom of what was wrong with my neck after my c4-c7 discectomy and fusion. I did not like the waiting room time 2-3 hrs and 1 hr in patient room! Didnt like the fact that out of 5 visits i saw him 2 times, had to ask to talk to him the 2nd time. How does a Dr give quality care to their patients when they don't even tend them every time. Gave me a c-spine epidural and that's helped my pain a lot for now.

I had had a car accident and been treated by a chiropractor but still had unresolved issues after a year and a half, so Dr Venger was recommended to me. He was working in NV at the time. I found him to be practical and compassionate, and he did not want to do surgery unless everything else had been tried. He ended up sending me to a neurologist. I will never forget how kind he was and how he wanted to avoid surgery. Not sure why previous reviews note the opposite.

On my last visit I was told by Dr Venger that “DEA had mandated all patients be lowered to less than 100 mgs of morphine or the equivalent.” I spoke with DEA investigations in Washington DC. I told them Dr Venger had told me. The agent told me there is no DEA mandate or rules about reducing the dose of opioid medications. That DEA and law enforcement are not doctors and does not tell physicians what or how to prescribe medications. The patient physician relationship is one of the most importan

Be prepared to wait over 4 hours not just once in awhile, but every single day. He spends less then 2 minutes with his back turned to you and if you refuse his surgical suggestions then he will cut all of your medications in half without any weaning process. I am so tired of the circus act that takes place every time in am in his office. Keep looking for a different doctor.

Sends no time with you. Did not even examine me. Patients are treated like cattle. Waited 4 1/2 hrs to see him for only 2 minutes of his time.

No doubt an excellent surgeon... doesn't explain his right to a God-complex though. Doesn't listen to his patients and prejudges his patients. Be prepared to wait at least 2 to 3 hours for your appointment!
