I did most of the excavation to expose the union between the PVC and copper main line where the leak was. They arrived late due to scheduled work load. The repair took about two hours and cost a whopping 975.00 to cut PVC and remove the old cracked PVC coupling and replace with new PVC (about 10-12 inches). There is also an old, not working main valve at the end of the copper but that was NOT even replaced. I was shocked at the price but I did agree to it beforehand like a dummy.
