My water heater blew out on Thursday. Looking around I saw that Ben Franklin had good reviews so I gave them a call. The girl told me that they wouldn't be able to come out to the house to estimate the job until Wednesday... what would have been 6 days AFTER my water heater blew. Then when pressed, she didn't know how long after that it would be before installation. I tried to explain this timeline to her along with the fact that I needed hot water for showers, cleaning, etc. but she just didn't get it. I expected a lot more... read more
Very disappointed in the service. Came to unclog a bathtub, which he thought he had unclogged in twenty-five to thirty minutes but charged $255.00. Then returned when bathtub backed up to say he thought it might be the drain fill. Which resulted in another company checking everything to find that the bathtub was still clogged. Never never again, plus the fact that he arrived two hours late. Their policies invalid they do not pay you if they are late, 100% guarantee does not exist. Two weeks of frustration!!!
The technicians were great! Knowledgeable and courteous. The worst part of my experience was their answering service. These people were slow, dumb and not courteous at all!!! I would suggest BFP cancel their contract with a them or run the potential of losing business. I would rate their answering service 1 star at best!
7/25/2017 This is an upgrade from my prior review**. Mike Lavoie, Operations Manager, came over to my residence to check on my bidet. I sincerely appreciate this gesture because it shows the company cares for what customers think. And of course, clients stay away from companies with poor reviews. Luckily for both of us, my (seat) bidet is fixed, and has been working well for more than a week. For some reason or another all I had to do was push the seat firmly and snuggly towards the back. They charged me over $1,500 for one day's labor. That is outrageous! And to top it off we had to call them back out to adjust a couple things they did. They say customer service is their priority but when I called to talk to the manager I was told he was on vacation and would return my call when he returned. That was over two weeks ago. I hope he is enjoying his extended vacation. Do yourself a favor and call someone else.
