Doctor Benjamin F. Katz discriminated against me and acted unprofessionally during my visit. Here’s a bit of background on what happened: I was on vacation in Mexico when I ended up in the hospital for four nights due to an emergency kidney stone removal. They left a double-J stent in place. Since I don't speak Spanish and the hospital staff in Mexico did not speak English, I came back home without sufficient knowledge about my condition. Working with Dr. Katz since finding out about my diagnosis has been really pleasant. He had a great sense of urgency and empathy for my condition, and that made me feel like I was in very good hands. He is very informative, honest, genuine, and showed a lot of care through out the entire process. He treated me like I was a family member he cared about. He is very knowledgeable, which gave me reassurance and comfort. I look forward to working with him on my journey.
Dr. Katz is beyond competent, caring, and kind. He was patient with all of my questions and thorough in his responses. In fact, he actively encouraged my questions, and I was respected in all of our interactions. As far as my experience with him, both pre- and post-operation, I confidently assert that he is a consummate professional and highly invested in providing quality care. I felt like a family member.
