This was a surprisingly good tour filled with local history. I loved the small group setting and our guide was super informative. I'd definitely go on this tour again with friends and family

to be honest, we spent more time above the streets than below. when the tour finished the guide told us 'we started the tour 2 1/2 blocks that way". we spent 25 mins. looking for where we near in pioneer square, not the safest area of Seattle.

While Pioneer Square still retains the atmosphere that got it branded as the original "Skid Road" neighborhood, it is actually one of the safest of the downtown neighborhoods based on Seattle Police crime stats. But as long as the perception remains we should be doing our utmost to ensure guest comfortability. Our guides should be offering to walk guests back to the tour start location.
