Make sure that you double check that your GPS has not accidentally lead you here. $10 to put a canoe in a river on a muddy shoreline. First time paddeling this section of river with my family. I entered in directions to Ferry bluff boat landing, but unfortunately and unknowingly was using "a private boat landing". At least I was told this as I slid my canoe up the muddy shore line. Benders Bluff View, Canoes (Cindy Bender) was a great place on the Wisconsin River to launch our canoe from for $10 and also you can leave a car there for some additional cash. Wally was super attentive to helping out with whatever we needed!
My family of five rented inner tubes for an afternoon float down the river this summer. We were slightly annoyed that the proprieter mixed up our start time and called us an hour before our actual reserved time. Once we arrived, service was good, pleasant, and efficient. I'm offering only 3*** on this review because we were not informed that we may experience wind on the River... and wind we had! We've been coming up here every year for many years. If you come prepared for the weather it's a great time. Wally takes great care of us every year. Can't wait until next year.
