I absolutely love Dr. Bender. I have been seeing him for years. He's great! He's very knowledgeable, attentive, and he has great bedside manner. His nurses are great as well. They have gone the extra mile for me more times than I can count. Would definatly recommend!
I took two of our girls to see Dr. Bender earlier this year. He was great with them. Knowledge, professional, and friendly. I was so surprised they were able to get us in so quickly when one of our girl’s acne got worse. The whole staff was efficient, kind and supportive. Dr. Bender gave us all the information we needed and gave us time to discuss how we wanted to proceed, with him and time with my daughter alone. I’m not surprised he has such a low review score. His office forgot to check me in so at 15 minutes passed my appointment time, I checked with them and they said they didn’t even know I was here. The nurse was very nice but then I saw Bender and he was very condescending. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m a young girl and he feels like I’m dumb, but I was very offended at his tone when talking to me that I actually called him out on it and asked if he was upset. I had to cancel my appointment because of back pain. I couldn’t drive to the appointment. 1 1/2 weeks later I ended up having back surgery. They rescheduled but I had to cancel because I was still in recovery after my surgery. I called to reschedule and they wouldn’t reschedule me due to 2 cancellations and to find a new doctor. Even when I explained the situation. I get they have a business to run but my back surgery was out of my control. Worst doctors office ever. Dr Bender is knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. He provides thoughtful and helpful suggestions. I do not agree with the low ratings that seem to be related to appointment timing and prescription refills. I ❤️ Primary Health.
