Oppression and fear and financial ruin- expect that with Bender Management. Expect to pay $1,700 for a terrible 1 bedroom. Mark my words one day this place will have a class action lawsuit. I reside at Edgewood Apartments, 8111 Route 53 in Woodridge. New property manager Hakim has been a pleasant addition to our community. Only on the job for little more than a month, he has already made improvements such as cleaning building exteriors on a scheduled basis, replacing garbage bins that were in disrepair, etc. Very welcoming presence in the office.

Don't rent here. Literally save yourself the stress and trauma. Price increase in rent as soon as your 1 year lease is up, and additional fees doubled as well, ie., in unit laundry machines, pet rent fee, facility fee. No exaggeration. Tenants are allowed to have their pets roam the property at all times of the day, unleashed, and never pick up after them. Aggressive, large and small breeds roam free and some unattended. Such an awful company. They buy buildings then raise the rent and lower the amenities. They basically force workers who have been there for many years out by lowering their pay or not giving them as much work. What used to be a family feeling in the community where we rented is now a terrible depressing environment. So sad. It’s all about the money and they don’t care about people at all! The funny thing about this company is the they increase rent due to “increase in market, and to upkeep the properties” but the properties are never up-kept. They never maintain and update anything. One of the properties I moved into the entire unit was DISGUSTING!!!!!! Koolaid packets left everywhere, inhalers from the staff, the microwave was broken and cracked and dirty, food left in there.
