The 283-acre Bend-Sunriver RV Camping preserve, on the Little Deschutes River, offers the best of both worlds: warm summers and snowy, dry winters. Fishing is allowed on this Central Oregon RV campground and preserve, and rivers and lakes in the area offer salmon, whitefish, and rainbow trout. RV park was very run down, needs maintainance, and upgrades. I expected much more from a Thousand Trails Campground. No sewer connection, no water for two days, pool and rec area not functioning. Although very spacious, friendly staff, and great location; I would not recommend staying here. I was extremely disappointed. Also, we left our site to play golf and returned to find our site was occupied. We complained to staff at gate: reply this happens all the time. Very poor system......... June 8-10, 2022
