Super helpful , no seriously I'm not kidding! :) Eric the owner has been a helpful teacher to this newbie to the sport. If you are considering mountain biking, this should be your first stop.
This is one of the best shops I have ever been to! They fixed my bike up really quick and then drove me to the Wanoga Sno Park so I didn't have to ride up! When I got back to the shop they gave me beers and let me take a shower! Eric, the owner, is a super rad dude. Everyone in Bend that needs help with their bike or just wants to talk, stop by Bend Cyclery!
My experience was Awesome. I am a noob to mountain biking and Eric, the owner was super gracious with me as a fired a bunch of questions at him. After 2 beers and 2 hours of chatting I walked out with a new bike and some gear at a stellar price! I also want to shout out to Bend bike community in general. Best bike shop in Bend, one of the best I've ever been to and I've been in a lot of bike shops. Free beer on tap, how can you beat that!
Super shop. They set me up with a couple of wicked Kona Process' to demo. Even poured me pint of sweet brew after my rides out at Phil's. How awesome is that? Great guys and tons of selection. My wife couldn't get me to leave! Wish I had more time to demo the Norco's and Knolly's. There was not a Trek or Specialized in sight, which makes it my dream shop! :-) I will stop in here any time I'm back in Bend, even once I do finally decide on a new ride...
