RecommendedI have been taking my pups here since I arrived in Bend 14 years ago. They have seen my four original dogs through serious illnesses--from cancer to an autoimmune disease--and basic life stuff skill and caring. They have always under promised and over delivered, and tend to offer pragmatic suggestions before recommending expensive testing. Almost all my local friends now take their animals to Bend Animal Hospital. I can't recommend them highly enough.
I had an emergency issue with my daughters 4-H pig. We were in a panic as we never dealt with sick pig before. Lynne Brown was fantastic! She came out to our home in Powell Butte and assessed Bruno. Gave us reassurance that he’d be fine. A few days later, he’s eating on his own and up out of his shelter. Thank you so much Dr. Brown! We appreciate your kindness and help!!!! 🤗

Wouldn't take my pets anywhere else in Central Oregon! Their staff has been there for our family through routine checkups, after hours emergencies, home visits to check up on our horses, new pets, and even a few furry family members we've had to put down. Dr. Pappa has driven all the way out to our home after hours on two separate occasions to put very old dogs down which is something I am so incredibly grateful for. The most wonderful humans you will ever meet. My family has been bring their fur babies to Bend Animal Hospital for years and now I bring my own little fur family to them as well. We had to put our 11 year old wolf hybrid down last Monday. Dr. Pappa did everything to slow down Harley's degenerative disease but unfortunately there wasn't much we could do.
