Blue Earth-Nicollet Cooperative Electric Association was founded in 1936. In 1998, Frost-BENCO-Wells Electric became a Touchstone Energy partner and began doing business as BENCO Electric. Based in Mankato, Minn., the cooperative has more than 3,000 miles of line and more than 11,000 members. BENCO Electric along with 29 other electric cooperatives in Minnesota purchase their wholesale power from Great River Energy of Elk River, Minn.

Really benco?? You guys are more expensive than any other electric/gas company I have had, FOR WHAT???? Bad customer service?? Paula is legit the worst person I have ever dealt with. I have worked in customer service for DECADES and let me tell you, the job either makes you more empathetic and mature - where you learn to not let your feelings dictate your mood and treatment of customers or you're the opposite and end up like Paula.
Very difficult to get a hold of them during "business hours"
This company has terrible customer service. I've been trying for 5 months to get my Mom's electric bill in my name. 5 frickin call to customer service and they have screwed it up EVERY Time!!!!
Very unfriendly office when you call in. If you have another choice get a different provider.
