Needing transmission service and trying other major companies previously, I decided to try Benchmark after reading reviews. Price was in line with other companies, but service was my main concern. I had been meaning to this write a review for a while, after 55,000 miles put on one of Dantes rebuilds, I figured it was probably time. Much thanks from the Ford truck owner who was left stranded from out of town. Not only was the price more than fair, all of the people there were courteous, and professional. I was left stranded close to their shop, and instead of raking me over the coals as an out of towner, I was quoted a very fair price, and my truck was done when they promised. I never went to them for an actual service but I called them one day asking the cost of putting liquid in my sealed transmission for me. Instead of telling me to come in and charging me, a nice man told me how to do it myself. It worked, thank you!

We have had several company vans repaired at Benchmark Transmission in Newark, DE. We were pleased with the excellent work, fair pricing and promp service. There were no "surprises". The work was finished when the manager said it would be at the cost agreed upon. The trucks run like new! Excellent service, reputable company, caring owner.

Benchmark gave me a complete diagnosis and an honest estimate on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. When they were finished, the Jeep ran great and the price I paid was exactly what they had quoted. I've been to some of the big national shops with their revolving staffs and Benchmark went out of their way to make me feel like I was their number one customer. I would not hesitate to recommend Benchmark transmissions to anyone needing quality work done on their vehicle.

I went to Benchmark Transmission in Newark, DE on 29 June 2010 to have my 1999 Sable evaluated for a "transmission malfunction" as requested by me. Dante principe of Benchmark examined my car and told me that the problem was related to engine missing rather than a transmissiom malfunction. In fact, he told me that the transmission fluid was very clean which indicated good maintenance and proper operation. He did not charge me for his time and effort. Because of his honesty I fully support and recommend Benchmark to everyone!

Dante at Benchmark worked wonders on my daughter's car. She needed a transmission rebuild and they did it for $20 less than their bottom estimate. The service was quick and courteous. I recommend them for quality work, good service, and fair prices.
