We have been buying cars from benchmark for over 10 years and I hate to leave this review today but after 7 straight business days of my husband James trying to call the bank manager over there to get everything set up for payments to be withdrawn for my bank account what do they do they don't return our freaking phone calls! I helped get my grandson his first car from Benchmark in Asheville, we have had nothing but problems with this car.I have bought several cars from this Benchmark with no problems. Just got his car from the service department on Thurs after them having his car for almost 2 weeks, got home and its smoking from from under the hood again!!! Do not let this awful place make you another victim. Their model is designed entirely to squeeze as much as they can from those with the least in this life. They leased us a 2009 Toyota Camry with over 100,000 miles on it, and by the end, we would have paid a staggering $24,000 without even owning the vehicle. Charging brand-new car prices for a high-mileage, 17-year-old vehicle is outright extortion. But it gets worse.
