I had a total knee replacement and Benchmark East Towne definitely helped me recover. They are tough when needed and compassionate when needed. It takes a lot to push through the exercises and pain. You have to remember you are in it for the long haul. But with their help I'm almost there and ready to be released. Definitely recommend them, especially Graham.

I have been a patient here for 2 different things. My back and my knee. I cannot say what a wonderful place this is. The people are so nice- and throughout therapy- the pain in my back and my knee are gone. I just want to give a shout out to the following 3 people. These folks are the best. I worked with Jamie, Gabby, and Patricia during my time at benchmark and they were all so wonderful! Compassionate, understanding, knowledgeable, and beyond professional. Always checked in on how pain levels, sent me home with handouts, and always catered to my physical condition that day. I would recommend them to anyone in the area!

Receptionist must have been having a bad day.  I introduced myself as having recently moved to the area and inquiring if my specific Medicaid insurance was accepted by them and asked her to please check.  Her only reply was “I have no way to check that.”  After 10 seconds of silence, I turned around and walked out.  Found another place that treated me with exceptional kindness and determined, within 2 minutes that they were in network for my specific Medicaid insurance.  I’m sure the Physical Therapists are great at APT but ... read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I have a neck/shoulder injury and it is now completely healed. The staff was awesome! They were very professional, friendly and helpful. Very appreciative to everyone there for everything they do.

I'm very surprised by the 4.9 star review. Our experience is far from this. Perhaps the reviewees haven't received their invoices. This company is basically corrupt! When they failed to file the invoices to the insurance company on time; they sent us an invoice for almost $7,000! Doesn't that sound a bit excess for some pulling on your arm? Well after 2 years of push back they convinced the insurance company to accept the late filing of their invoices! Lessons learned, stay away from facilities which do not file claims in ... read more

Once my doctor released me for physical therapy after shoulder surgery I began physical therapy at Benchmark Physical Therapy in Gastonia, NC. My principal therapist was Lucy but I also had the pleasure of working with Imiah (I apologize if I spelled it wrong!).
