I cannot recommend Benchmark Behavioral Health enough! They genuinely care about the boys they treat and they made sure that as his parents we were aware of every single thing that was happening with him. I am forever in their debt for the amazing care they provided for him and the life skills they taught him! 10 out of 10, highly recommend!!
All you need to know about Benchmark: One kid drew a swastika during class. Another Jewish kid saw it and got upset and yelled. Bethany Czuba was unit manager at the time and called a response to put the upset kid in time out. A Jewish kid upset at the drawing of a swastika was locked behind a magnetically sealed door. Let that sink in.
My son showed a lot of growth through the program. I feel this was a great choice that I made.
So far our experience have been very positive. We were very impressed with the check in process and how smooth that went. We got all our questions answered before we left and were able to say goodbye feeling like our son was going to be in good hands. We got to talk to him that night which helped ease our anxiety a lot. The only rough thing for us was we did not hear from our son for a week until we sent an email asking for contact. Family Therapy went okay for our first Zoom session.
