What a find! Great motel, full size fridge. Ammenities and microwave etc. super reasonable rates. Not that we smoke anymore, always , but outside table and seating with ashtray was a bonus if you’re a smoker. The owners are super lovely and bend over backwards for you. Can’t recommend it enough.
Staying here was a spur of the moment decision by hubby and I. We'd been up in the Kroombit tops most of the day, it was getting late and we wanted a quiet place to stay before heading home in the morning. Fortunately there was a vacancy and reception was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, with air con and a ceiling fan, microwave, jug and toaster, basic cutlery, and plates, mugs etc, water pressure in the shower was great, all we needed for the night. Loved my stay here. Clean rooms, good location, beautiful surrounds. Managers, ( I can't remember their names) were really friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return and stay longer.
Pulled up as I was tired, was a budget style motel but was very clean and the lady who checked me in I assumed was the owner and was very friendly. Rooms very outdated but clean, thought I will stay here on the way back, until I had the worse experience have ever had at checkout. At 9.55 am the male owner knocked on the door asking when I was leaving, I have a disability on crutches and no offer to help pack but that’s ok, I said I will b 5 mins just packing cold stuff and personal stuff, then I thought I will go the toilet ... read more
Received a lovely welcome on arrival, from Joan. Our room was extremely clean and contained everything needed for our stay. Although just off the highway, the BHMI is tucked away and road noise did not disturb the night in the very comfortable beds. A choice of meals (cooked on site) can be delivered to your room or Tannum Sands Hotel is a short 7-8 klm drive away. Friendly owners and value for money make this a great choice if you prefer staying out of the hustle and bustle.
