While walking through the mall with my friend today, I saw a sales associate rudely and literally shoo away an elderly man, roll her eyes and start flipping through a catalogue. Obviously that interaction didn’t sit right with me, so my friend and I went over to the older man who we came to find out was trying to fix his watch. But he was new to Calgary and struggling to work his phone, not to mention he is probably over 80 years of age. I brought my wedding ring here to have 1 claw repaired (only because I bought the ring at a Ben Moss) on a Wednesday. The lady I dealt with was pleasant, but the gold smith refused to fix the singular claw. They would only repair all 16 claws and the quote was ½ of what I paid for the ring. I told them I didn't want to continue and was told my ring would be returned to the store soon. The following Monday I was contacted and told my ring would be back in store tomorrow (Tuesday).
