Went here today with my gf for ring shopping, and we were asked to provide her ID before she could even see the ring. We noticed that we were the only ones (visible minority) who were asked to hand over ID. The other customers there were white and none of them were asked to do the same. The lady helping us was great and provided awesome customer service. I would’ve really loved to buy the ring from her, but the ID situation really rubbed me the wrong way so I’ll definitely be buying the ring somewhere else.
Unfortunately, Dale and the team at Ben Moss Polo Park absolutely destroyed what was supposed to be such a memorable time in my life. After 10 Months of 3 broken rings, countless lies, unanswered emails and phone calls and passing the buck from one person to another. I finally just got a full refund for my engagement set because trying to find a solution with them was clearly not possible. Honestly so disappointing. Walked into Ben Moss and the associate took my ID before he'd even hand me the jewelry to look at, calling it 'insurance.' I've never experienced that anywhere else. Looked around and noticed I was the only one being asked. Felt like straight up racial profiling. It ruined the whole experience. Won't be back to any Ben Moss.
I received my engagement ring in 2017. Throughout the years they have taken such good care of me when I've come in for cleanings, assessments and resizing. I absolutely adore Sylvia at the polo park location. She is incredibly welcoming, attentive and just genuinely makes any transaction so easy. I cannot recommend Ben Moss enough! Get your rings here! The quality is amazing and the staff make the experiences worth it!
