This provider did not have my images available at the start of my appointment. He repeatedly asked, “Why are you here?” and said things like, “I treat pain with nonsurgical interventions—what am I supposed to do?” I was referred to him and did not self-refer; these questions are better directed to the referring provider. He previously gave me a contraindicated treatment despite my imaging findings. As a D.O., he should act like one.
