It had been awhile since I was there last, but still great food and service! Many of the staff have been there more than 20 years and some since the beginning (30+ years). Be sure to go upsairs in the restaurant to see the FDR Suite that was redecorated in his honor when he stayed there June 12, 1936. Next to the suite is the first "in house" elevator in Dallas.
Yes, it's been one of the finest in Dallas for 35 years. Service staff were up to the game at every step. Professional, sincere and helpful. The atmosphere is always perfect for a special evening and finishing the night into the early morn with some rowdy good times & live music in the lounge made for a great great night. Thanks all!
A wonderful experience. Fabulous service, good food and then the show is like being on stage at a concert. Allan Gogo and staff do a great job.

The best bar on the upper east side. I love the Carlyle and Bemelmans!
It was a magical evening. A wonderful maitre'd ushered us into the cabaret room where lovely murals covered the wall. We were here to hear the captivating Mandy Gonzalez. I ordered an Old Cuban--a tantalizing concoction of rum and champagne. The wait staff was superb and attentive. What a wonderful night. It's easy to undetstand the Carlyle's allure. Simply put, I believe the Carlyle IS New York.
