Main reasons: Ambiance, music, historical context but above all the wall paintings by Bemelman, truly a treasure of the art of this fascinating painter and writer. I wish there would be a book on his paintings of the walls of this bar!
We enjoyed a rainy afternoon in this quaint little bar. Service was exceptional, atmosphere was perfect.
