While the apartments at Belvoir Square are modern and come with nice amenities, there are some serious issues that make living here frustrating. One of the biggest problems is the lack of enforcement when it comes to pets. Dogs bark nonstop throughout the day, making it difficult to get any peace and quiet. Even worse, there is dog waste and urine all over the building, including in hallways and even on the rooftop. First off, if you own an electric vehicle DO NOT MOVE HERE. No where on the website does it say that you are unable to charge your vehicle, nor does it say anything in the lease agreement that you are not aloud too, but if you do you will be given a violation notice. I have asked numerous times for this in writing or in an email and the staff has told me that they will provide it to me but they never do, and when asked about it on numerous occasions they never have an update. Update: I brought up a noise complaint to the management office and expressed my desires to move to a top floor unit. Ms.Diya addressed the issue with my upstairs neighbors quickly and her and Ms.Ashley both kept an eye out for an opening on the 5th Floor. Once a unit came available, I was able to transfer units the very next week and it was a very smooth process - there was even a flower and a card waiting for me on the kitchen island. Good: location and management Bad: The other residents are noisy past quiet hours, they let their pets defecate in the hallways, they have their smelly trash out when they're not supposed to, people break in with knives through the front door sometimes, the area is getting less safe with break ins for cars and house burglaries, Marijuana use is rife in the stairwells. They sent out one email to notify residents of the garage repair that would lock us in from 8-4pm instead of putting flyers out on everyone’s doors like they used to. New office employees must be getting lazy. Even after calling the office to tell them to go back to the old ways I was told “we can’t make everyone happy”. Well these people need to find a new job field and avoid customer service. I pay rent here and expect to be happy and not locked in my complex. Do better!
