Customer service is awesome. They really know mowers!!
I brought my Spartan RZ in for routine maintenance and was charged for two hours of labor, with the invoice stating the blades were sharpened. Unfortunately, when I inspected the mower after getting it home, the blades were still rough, dull, and looked unfinished. They certainly didn’t look like blades that had just been professionally sharpened. After 50 years as a customer, I feel completely betrayed by this company. Belts Lawn & Garden told me my Simplicity riding mower was essentially worthless because of supposed transmission problems and unavailable parts. They wanted to keep the mower and charge me a disposal fee. Thankfully, I got a second opinion. Another repair shop carefully checked the mower, drove it extensively, and confirmed there was no transmission problem at all. The mower only needed an electrical charging repair and a few parts and now runs great.... read more
