Our dog Shadow had surgery on his elbow yesterday. When I met with Dr Goldstein he was beyond professional. He explained everything to me in great detail and really listened to my questions and concerns. I called last night to see how Shadow was doing and Dr. Goldstein himself called me back to assure me that Shadow was doing well. On discharge today the staff went above and beyond to make sure I understood the at home care and put Shadow in the car for me. I am so grateful that my vet contacted Dr. Goldstein for me.
Dr. Goldstein and his staff made a very difficult time much easier to endure. We took Rhodey there for suspected ACL damage, only to find out it was actually cancer, requiring the amputation of Rhodey's left rear leg. Dr, Goldstein immediately put me at ease with his obvious knowledge and amazing compassion. 2 surgeries later (one exploratory, then the amputation), Rhodey is doing amazingly well. He was very well taken care of at Beltway Surgical Referral.
One of the few vets I would allow to do surgery on my dogs. Awesome caring and very professional.
Dr. G has performed ACL repair surgeries on two of my babies...Gillian and Izzy. In all honesty, I can tell you that I would never trust another surgeon with their care. Full disclosure: I am Dr. G's overnight technician. I have known and worked with him for over 15 years. His compassion, warmth, intelligence, and skill are second to none. I am honored to work for him.
Dr. Goldstein spent over an hour going over the procedure he will do on our furbaby. Very informative, very patient with our questions. His staff was very pleasant and helpful. We are very, very pleased. We highly recommend him.
