Wow I just called and tried to get power at a place one they didn’t believe I was moving into this place after me giving the landlord name then turn around and tell me it going to be 320.00 before I even get power on there and does that go towards the bill he said no never had service from them before
Energy is a complex market and our coop (I'm a member) does a good job overall. The last outage I had was over a year ago and it was for less than an hour. It was caused by my neighbor's transformer failing and they had a crew there within an hour and a new transformer delivered and installed within approximately 3 hours. If you live in town of bemidji mn just go ottertail it's 10 times cheaper this company it's completely money hungry but if you live out of town its the only one you can do firstly you have to put down a 500 down which you won't get back and then they just over charge for your electric each much with a bill that over 200$ now no one want to be paying that much nowadays it's crazy why they have to charge so much when other companies are just willing to turn your power on for you for around 50 60$
