White woman here. Why would I go to a black salon? Well I have a damn good reason! I broke my arm and since it was in a cast I could not brush my very long hair. As a result I developed several HORRIBLE knots on the back of my head. I was told by a friend to go to a black salon and tell them I have a knot and they'll know EXACTLY what to do. I love finding gems in the local community this spot has been here for a while. When you see a shop open through covid and 5 year later, you know the owner knows how to do some hair. You walk on and the energy feels like you are at home. Give them a call they know how to treat people.
The owner Nikki is so accommodating she gave me the exact look I was looking for. Her shop is so relaxing the other beauticians were super friendly. She has a daughter who is a brilliant 5 year old. I'm gonna recommend her to all my friends and family
