Purchased a nice full suspension Mountain Bike there this weekend and ordered some special parts. They carry some excellent brands and let me test-ride on multiple occasions. They were very patient with me and always eager to explain even when it was clear I wasn't buying anything that day. There are just a few places you can go if you're looking for a serious adult bike and this is one of them. I just bought a BMC RM 1 from these folks and the process was quite an education for me. After some initial skepticism, I did the 3 hour fitting process first with them and learned everything that was wrong with the fitting on the old bike I was riding. It was worth every cent. Writing another nice review for Wheelworks :-D The handlebar stem on my recumbent snapped unexpectedly-- the bars came completely off my bike. Wheelworks fixed it with spare parts while I waited. They also rerouted the brake and shifter cables. My bike is now nicer than it was before! Thank you to Scott Chamberlin who made it happen and did the work
I had a fantastic experience at Wheelworks. Gary was extremely helpful, let me test drive a couple bikes to get a feel for size and style, and I walked out with a mountain bike that's the perfect fit for me. I could not be more satisfied with my purchase which could not have happened without Gary's expertise and consideration of my requests and needs. I took the bike for a test drive on some trails today and could not have been happier with its performance. Thank you Gary and the Wheelworks crew!
Thank you Bruce Weber and Jordan at Ace Wheel Works in Davis Sq. /Somerville for all your help and assisting me with what was a heavily researched process of selecting my new road bike. Love my Specialized Diverge and 58 cm frame and the fit are perfect ! Thought to Diverge myself and pedal out to Walden Pond--Thoreau would proud that I took the path less travelled !
