Not recommended! My mother was there for over a year and needed total care. I lived far away and was unaware of most of it and I was not the one who made decisions for her or she would have been moved! You would think that one of the most expensive senior homes ever would take good care of their residents but no. They had multiple Covid outbreaks after it was largely contained in the outside world (2024). My mother was neglected, even while I was there, to the point where I had to go find someone to change her diaper. She ha... read more
It’s always a pleasure to visit the Belmont community. Gilda, Allyson Fuji, Rachel, Yaseen and staff are always open, warm and friendly. As a Visiting Hospice Nurse, I appreciate the great care and attention provided by the wellness staff and caregivers. Moving a parent into assisted living or memory care is a terrifying decision, but Belmont Village San Jose has been life-changing.
