9/2026 Update (Pt. 3) Maintenance has been cutting power to areas of the building all night--in a heat wave. No email from management to explain the situation and when to expect a resolution/access to electricity --an essential service. Executive team alerted (by me) and yet? Still no communication. The recent reviews are accurate, unfortunately. After living at The Belmont for many years, I am moving out. It’s not a horrible place to live. The problem is they are charging a premium price but they have stripped away all of the things they did to deserve that price. My bottom-line rent increase last year was 12%. This year they wanted another 9%, including the new, mandatory Xfinity package, which is a ripoff in price and quality. I have lived here for over five years, and overall have loved it. However, as some other reviewers have said, the quality of the building management has gone downhill over the last 6-12 months. Twice an extremely loud alarm starting going off on my floor in the middle of the night and stayed on for almost an hour. I let that slide because things happen. I think the most recent Google review encapsulates similar frustrations I've been privately having. The quality of this place has been steadily going down. I've been pretty unhappy with the random alarms going off in the middle of the night, elevator outages, being forced off a better internet plan, and house centipedes every other week. Laundry room keeps raising prices. Having my rent raised to $2,100 for a 400sq ft box (a STUDIO) with not even a lake view is pretty ridiculous, especially when there are one bedroom apartme... read more

[Editing in 2026] The first 2.5 years of living here were everything I could have asked for in a building, leasing, management, maintenance, and concierge.
