I arrived for an appointment today that I just schedule a few days ago and the salon has SHUT DOWN PERMANENTLY! No one bothered to call me or notify me that my appointment had been cancelled. Another person arrived while I was walking up to the building because they were looking to rent the space. Apparently the owner didn’t pay her bills. And what terrible business that you can’t even bother to tell someone with an appointment that they no longer have one. Good riddance.
Jen (the owner) is wildly unprofessional. Jen is verbally abusive to her staff with clients present. She’s inappropriate with clients via text. Very awkward to be receiving services and listen to Jen discuss her open marriage and her sex life with her (also married) boyfriends. This business has lost all their great stylists as of the first of August due to Jen’s management tactics I’m writing this from an anonymous profile . Sinking ship!! AVOID Update* I now go to DENIM&IVORY and it’s fantastic.
I received a gift certificate for your beautiful salon for Mother’s Day from my children. I enjoyed an express facial given by Jazmine Green! She was friendly knowledgeable, and the experience was very relaxing. Looking forward to another facial in October! Warmest Regards, Alexsandra Hoerner
I have been to this salon once in over a year. I have posted the texts that I received. Her text says that she sent last night was today at 1:21 after I had already left the salon. After not getting a call back or text I came at 1 pm to make sure I did not miss the appointment Jenn says was canceled. The professionalism is ridiculous and I think I now understand why her business partner split the company from her two years ago.
This was my first time at the salon and it was a last minute appointment. I saw Celene and gave her a rough draft of what I was thinking for my hair. I came out with the best haircut I’ve had in a while, I absolutely love my hair and she executed it perfectly. She made sure to check in as she was cutting to make sure I liked what she was doing. It was overall the best experience.
