I was treated very poorly. First, was made to wait for over an hour to get a room, another 30 minutes to see him then he took several phone calls during my appointment. He yelled at me, why can’t you sit still, while blows things in my eyes. I was in fact trying. The office was dirty and had tissues on the floor that weren’t from me. Also, they dilated my eyes, but said I would be able to drive. I was not able to drive six hours later and had to get a ride home and leave my car there for the night. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The assistants were friendly, but professional, compassionate and put me at my ease. Dr Kim was professional, shared all the details of my exam and explained thoroughly the results. All my questions were answered and I never felt rushed. The on-going care plan was clear to me.

I give Dr Kim an “F” grade. He’s arrogant, dismissive and behaves punitively. For these reasons I am contacting my insurance, Aetna, and the governing/licensing board in Olympia. I thought my first visit a few years ago was just an off day, but after this most recent exam, interaction and incorrect prescription, it definitely wasn’t a bad day…it’s how he behaves. Not for me!
